Anniversary and Stuff

We celebrated our 9 year Anniversary this weekend by taking a trip to Los Angeles and going to a live taping of Garrison Keillor's "Prairie Home Companion". It was a great trip, wonderful show, and we had a really nice time. Michael is so fun to travel with. He likes to do anything I like and is really good at finding the interesting and fun attractions wherever we go. He lets me drive from the passenger seat and he even lets me sleep in until nine, even if he wakes up at seven.

We went to a Farmers Market in downtown LA, saw a movie (Star Trek), and rode the ferris wheel at Santa Monica Pier. Sooooo much fun.

Monday Debbie called to tell me she had been to the doctor and was going to have a New Year's Eve Baby. Hope she is the one that has the first baby of the year and gets all that free stuff. Wonder if she will still be in Texas? I guess the important thing is that the baby and mama are healthy and everything goes well!

I'm taking a ceramics class on Tuesdays for six weeks at the Senior Center. I have also got into playing pinnochle on Mondays. Does this mean I'm old?
